Description
DeKalb County School District is soliciting proposals for a district-wide HVAC water treatment program covering approximately 98 facilities, including cooling tower and condenser-water systems, chilled-water and other closed loops, heating and tempered-water systems, and applicable boilers. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, chemicals, biocides, testing materials, treatment equipment, monitoring, calibration, technical support, electronic reporting, and documentation. The scope includes scale and corrosion control, microbiological and Legionella risk management, routine water testing, chemical adjustment, conductivity and blowdown monitoring, corrosion monitoring, system cleanliness and rehabilitation support, emergency response, and compatibility with the District’s existing Walchem controllers and chemical-feed infrastructure. Proposals must include technical and pricing information, required licenses and certifications, financial statements, insurance documentation, references, and the specified certifications and forms. The initial term is one year, with up to four one-year renewal options; multiple awards may be made.
