Description
Gwinnett County is soliciting competitive sealed bids for annual grounds maintenance at Department of Water Resources facilities. The scope includes mowing, trimming, edging, seeding, trash and debris removal, mulch and pine-straw installation, weed control, ornamental shrub and tree management, seasonal color installation, fertilization, pesticide and herbicide applications, aeration, reseeding, resodding, and related landscaping services. Work is divided into small-site and large-site sections, and bidders may submit pricing for one or more sections. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and related supplies. Requirements include Georgia Department of Agriculture Category 24 pesticide-applicator licensing, trained technicians, and Georgia Certified Landscape Professional certification for landscaping and chemical-application work. The bid package requires a completed bid schedule, at least three similar references, an E-Verify contractor affidavit, a Code of Ethics affidavit, and copies of applicable licenses and training documentation. The initial contract term includes four additional one-year renewal options; the contract begins upon notification of award. Insurance requirements include commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation and employers’ liability, umbrella/excess liability, and other coverage applicable to the work.
