Description

Fulton County is soliciting a progressive design-build team for Phase I of the Friendship Pump Station project. The scope includes surveying, geotechnical investigation, engineering design through 80 percent completion, value engineering, permitting, easement and property acquisition support, preparation of a Guaranteed Maximum Price proposal, and construction of one new wastewater pump station with approximately 12,500 linear feet of force main. The project must include pumps, piping, valves, electrical and instrumentation systems, controls and telemetry, variable-frequency drives, flow metering, odor control, backup generation, bypass connections, site utilities, and provisions for future expansion. The selected team must coordinate with Fulton County, the City of South Fulton, Georgia environmental and transportation authorities, utilities, adjacent property owners, and other stakeholders. Deliverables include a Basis of Design, milestone design packages, permit and easement documentation, a project schedule, cost and risk reporting, and an 80 percent design set with GMP. The solicitation requires a technical proposal, separate cost proposal, purchasing and contract-compliance forms, proof of insurance, addendum acknowledgments, and other required certifications and forms. The project is federally funded and subject to applicable federal grant, Build America, Buy America, Uniform Guidance, recordkeeping, reporting, and prevailing-wage requirements.
