Description
Gwinnett County Board of Education is soliciting sealed lump-sum bids for roof replacement at Chattahoochee Elementary School Buildings 2011 and 2012 and Magill Elementary School Building 2011. The scope includes all labor, materials, and services necessary to complete the construction work. Construction may occur during weekends and student breaks, with full building access beginning May 27, 2027, and substantial completion required by July 23, 2027. Bidders must submit an AIA Document A305-2020 Contractor's Qualifications Statement before receiving plans and specifications. The statement must demonstrate experience with projects of similar scope and complexity and include verifiable client and project references. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required. The successful bidder must provide a 5% bid bond, and the successful contractor and specified subcontractors must provide 100% performance and labor and material payment bonds. The contractor's principal office for the project must be in Georgia within 75 miles of the project site and must have existed for at least 10 years.
