Description
Fulton County is soliciting proposals from qualified licensed actuaries to perform biannual actuarial evaluations and analyses of the County’s other post-employment benefits in accordance with GASB Statement No. 75 and other applicable GASB standards. The scope includes developing valuation methodologies, identifying required data, preparing actuarial valuation reports and disclosures, and providing GASB-compliant financial note information for the County’s financial statements. The engagement covers fiscal years ending 2026, 2028, and 2030, with work expected to begin in early February of each analysis year. Draft reports are due for County management review by April 1, and final reports are due by April 15. Proposals must include a technical approach, project plan, qualified personnel, relevant project experience, references, availability information, financial information, required purchasing and compliance forms, insurance information, and a completed cost proposal. The contract has a 2027 commencement term and two one-year renewal options.
