Description
Fulton County Schools is soliciting proposals from for-profit and nonprofit providers to operate on-site before- and after-school care programs in its elementary schools for pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade students, ages 4–12. Services are required on regular school days, with before-school care beginning at 6:30 a.m. and after-school care continuing until 6:30 p.m.; optional services may also be offered during summer school. The program must include instruction aligned with Georgia standards, homework assistance, enrichment, recreation, supervision, snacks purchased through the school nutrition program, enrollment and fee administration, emergency procedures, student sign-out, and accommodations for students with IEPs or 504 Plans. Proposals must address program methodology, capabilities, staffing and qualifications, enrollment and health policies, safety and emergency procedures, equipment and supplies, pricing, facility use, custodial coordination, and similar past contracts. The solicitation requires completion of the Commitment to Perform, Offeror’s Exceptions, Offeror’s Modifications, Request for Sealed Proposal, Offeror’s Checklist, Immigration and Security Form, Methodology Questionnaire, Capabilities Questionnaire, and Business Stability Questionnaire. The contract is a requirements contract with a base period stated in the award letter and four one-year options. Insurance requirements include workers’ compensation, commercial general liability of at least $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, automobile liability when applicable, umbrella liability of at least $3 million, and other applicable coverages.
