Description
The University of Utah is soliciting a full-service audio/visual and event production company for its 2027 Fintech Xchange conference. The scope includes scenic design and build; a minimum 12-by-24-foot stage with skirting, stairs, and railings; two rigged and operated LED screens; a live speaker-room confidence feed; lighting design and programming; audio and sound engineering; event and stage furniture; filming, live IMAG, and post-event editing of general sessions; production labor; signage; branded fixtures; delivery, load-in, strike, and freight services. The vendor must provide all required labor, equipment, and services, coordinate with the University's event planner, support a 500-person conference, and meet the specified January 31 through February 2, 2027 load-in, rehearsal, show, and strike schedule. Proposals must address the technical approach, equipment and backup plans, prior comparable events, staff qualifications, references and testimonials, scenic and branded-environment experience, and subcontracting. A separate completed cost proposal is required; the University's informational estimate for the 2027 event is approximately $65,000.
