Description
Salt Lake City Corporation is soliciting competitive sealed bids for services supporting its Building Services and Civil Enforcement Division. The contractor will clear vacant properties by removing garbage, refuse, and discarded materials; demolish and remove accessory structures such as sheds, garages, chicken coops, and storage buildings; remove foundations and fill hazardous depressions; haul debris to approved City or County landfills; and provide landfill receipts with invoices. The contractor will temporarily secure residential and commercial buildings by boarding openings with exterior-grade plywood or equivalent lumber, securing doors and windows, painting coverings to match the building or trim, and performing related work such as chaining fences, repairing or installing fencing, welding metal openings, sealing broken doors, and removing graffiti. Work is assigned as needed, with required personnel, an on-site supervisor, safety procedures, daily operational logs, response within two business days, and compliance with specified working-hour and environmental requirements. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the completed cost sheet. The resulting contract term is five years.
