Description
The District of West Vancouver is seeking an experienced proponent to assume responsibility for the planning, administration, operation, promotion, and management of a farmers' market in the Ambleside/Dundarave area. The successful contractor will be expected to deliver a safe, vibrant, well-managed market supporting local food producers, artisans, and community participation. Responsibilities may include vendor recruitment and management, site logistics, permits and regulatory compliance, insurance, public safety planning, waste management, programming, marketing and communications, financial administration, and regular reporting to the District. Demonstrated experience operating public markets, festivals, community events, or comparable multi-vendor operations is requested. The quotation with the lowest price that satisfies the mandatory criteria, terms and conditions, and specifications will be awarded a contract.
