Description
The City seeks a qualified firm or individual to provide pre-employment psychological screening and job-suitability assessments for police candidates and employees. Services include reviewing background information, administering and scoring psychological tests, conducting clinical and semi-structured forensic interviews, and evaluating writing samples and life-history questionnaires. Testing and interviews may be conducted in person or remotely; in-person delivery is preferred. Assessments must be administered and scored by licensed police and public-safety psychologists in good standing with Colorado's licensing board. Testing must be completed before the candidate's scheduled interview, and reports must be delivered to the Police Department within 48 hours of the assessment or interview, as applicable. Reports must include psychological and personality findings, relevant history and test results, and a job-suitability rating, and must be transmitted securely through the provider's HIPAA-compliant portal. The response must describe the firm's relevant experience, methodology, quality controls, staffing, capacity, turnaround times, and availability; include at least three comparable engagements and three public-safety references from the past five years; identify proposed key personnel and provide their resumes; and include current Colorado psychologist licenses for all proposed psychologists. The contract is for one year from execution, with four additional one-year renewal options. The City anticipates approximately 120 evaluations annually and may select multiple providers.
