Description
Ability Connection Colorado, Inc. is soliciting bids for Category 1 internet access and data transmission services for its Jamaica Street facility. The requested service may be month-to-month or provided under a multi-year contract, with capacity ranging from 10 Mbps to 2 Gbps. The applicant will consider fiber, DSL, cable, lit fiber, or other fiber and non-fiber options that meet its educational and cost requirements; the stated preference includes fiber from 40 Mbps to 1 Gbps and DSL of at least 40 Mbps downstream and 20 Mbps upstream where available. Proposals should provide pricing with and without a managed router and separately identify the SPIN number, installation or construction costs, connection type, monthly recurring charges, non-recurring charges, estimated taxes, service details, and technical support or service-update plans. Installation and initial configuration are requested, and managed-router services may include provisioning, configuration, and maintenance. Bids lacking site- or project-specific details or failing to meet the stated minimum requirements may be disqualified.
