Description
Adams County seeks to establish an on-call pool of four qualified investigators for prompt, neutral, and thorough investigations of employee and workplace matters, including harassment, discrimination, hostile work environment, retaliation, workplace violence, misconduct, and other sensitive personnel issues. Investigations will be directed by the County Attorney’s Office and treated as attorney work product and/or attorney-client privileged. Investigators must demonstrate expertise in employment law and investigations, including state and federal employment law and discrimination and harassment claims. Investigators must provide comprehensive reports documenting allegations, investigative methodology and actions, interviewees and credibility assessments, analysis under applicable law or policy, findings, and supporting documentation. They may also be required to participate in related administrative hearings, trials, or other official proceedings. The County’s goal is to receive completed investigations and reports within 60 days of assignment, absent extenuating circumstances. Proposals must include qualifications and assigned personnel, approach and availability, redacted sample investigative reports, conflict-of-interest information, references for at least three similar projects completed within the past five years involving proposed staff, and a separate pricing document. The County intends to award agreements to multiple proposers.
