Description
The City of Fort Collins, on behalf of the Poudre Fire Authority, is requesting proposals for psychological services for PFA employees and members, their spouses and domestic partners, and retirees for up to six months after employment. Services may include individual and group counseling, individual assessments, couples therapy, peer support team coordination and training, onboarding and academy meetings, critical incident debriefing and diffusing, therapy dog services, in-service training, and related special projects. The selected professional must maintain a physical office within the PFA's jurisdiction, provide reasonable appointment availability, maintain confidential psychological records for seven years, submit quarterly non-identifying statistical reports, and visit PFA stations, the training center, and headquarters annually per shift. Proposals are limited to 50 pages, excluding specified items, and must address the firm's qualifications, proposed approach, personnel, references, sustainability practices, hourly rates, contract exceptions, and the required acknowledgment form. The anticipated contract begins January 1, 2027, for one year with up to four additional one-year extensions.
