Description
Shasta County is soliciting vendors to provide HVAC and air duct cleaning services for County-owned and leased buildings as requested through individual projects. The scope includes labor, equipment, materials, inspections, debris removal, cleaning of air handling units, coils, registers, grills, fans, blowers, and ductwork, as well as containment, HEPA-filtered negative-air equipment, robotic video inspection where applicable, and documentation of conditions and completed work. Services must follow current National Air Duct Cleaners Association standards, and the contractor must be a certified NADCA member with at least one air system cleaning specialist and qualified foreman. Respondents must provide hourly rates, travel and emergency service fees, and material/equipment markup. The contractor must maintain a current California C-20 contractor's license, Department of Industrial Relations registration, prevailing-wage compliance, and specified insurance coverage. Individual projects may not exceed $75,000, while the aggregate contract sum may not exceed $220,000. The contract term is three years, and performance and labor-and-material payment bonds are required for individual projects totaling more than $25,000 unless waived for projects at or below that threshold.
