Description

The City of Klamath Falls is seeking a qualified consultant or consultant team to provide design services for improvements replacing the existing Hanks Street Lift Station at 705 Hanks Street. The design must be based on the provided preliminary design report and produce a biddable project, including surveying, plans, specifications, utility notifications, permitting, right-of-way considerations, bid assistance, and construction administration support. The anticipated improvements include replacing the existing dry-well/wet-well configuration with submersible sewage pumps; modifying the wet well; abandoning the existing dry well; installing new valves, a flow meter, bypass-pumping ports, and related vaults; replacing electrical, controls, telemetry, level-monitoring, and backup-power equipment; installing variable-frequency drives, programmable logic controllers, a diesel generator, and passive odor-control ventilation. The proposal must address project understanding and approach, a project schedule, record of performance including at least three similar projects and client references, and the proposed project team. The letter of interest is limited to two pages, and the proposal is limited to 12 pages excluding the cover sheet and appended information. Price will be negotiated with the selected consultant.
