Description
The National Park Service requires a new, fully integrated remote power pack trash compactor system consisting of one centralized hydraulic/electrical power unit and two interchangeable 20-yard compactor/container units. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, delivery, offloading, placement, leveling, electrical connection, system integration, operational testing, and documentation. The containers must be heavy-duty steel, leak-resistant, corrosion-resistant, compatible with trucks rated up to 58,000 pounds GVW, and meet the specified hydraulic, electrical, safety, and interchangeability requirements. The requirement is a total small-business set-aside and is expected to result in a firm-fixed-price purchase order. Quotations will be evaluated on price, technical acceptability, proposed schedule, relevant experience, and past performance. The quotation must include the completed Standard Form 1449, quote/price sheet, technical description, proposed schedule, relevant experience, past-performance references, and applicable representations and certifications. A minimum 12-month warranty and operator, maintenance, hydraulic, electrical, parts, and warranty documentation are required.
