Description
The National Park Service is soliciting quotations from small businesses to provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment for carpet steam cleaning in eight seasonal housing duplexes comprising 16 units and approximately 18,000 square feet of carpet at Crater Lake National Park. Services include hot-water extraction, spot and stain removal, deodorizing as needed, furniture movement and protection, pre-cleaning inspections, wastewater handling, and restoration to a clean and sanitary condition. The contractor must protect park resources, use approved routes and staging areas, comply with environmental and safety requirements, and perform the work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The work is expected to occur as one continuous effort after winter shutdown and before seasonal employees arrive, with an estimated duration of approximately two weeks. The revised Statement of Work requires pre-cleaning inspection reports, a detailed cleaning schedule and timeline for COR approval, Safety Data Sheets and product information, proof of insurance, and correction of any damage caused by the contractor. The amendment adds a September 10, 2026 site visit, extends the deadline for additional questions to September 11, 2026, and extends quote submission to September 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. PDT.
