Description
The National Park Service requires firm-fixed-price cleaning, mold remediation, and interior restoration services for seven residential units. Four units require cleaning only, while three units require cleaning, microbial remediation, selective demolition of damaged materials, and restoration. The contractor must provide all supervision, labor, equipment, testing, and supplies. The scope includes HEPA vacuuming; carpet shampooing and sanitization; antimicrobial treatment of hard surfaces, furnishings, and contents; HEPA air scrubbers achieving at least four air changes per hour; dehumidification maintaining relative humidity below 60 percent; selective demolition and replacement of damaged insulation, drywall, and plaster; historic-finish matching; air and surface clearance testing with outdoor baseline samples; safety controls for respiratory protection, lead, and asbestos; temporary generators and power distribution; quality control; reporting; and closeout documentation. Work must be completed within 30 calendar days after notice to proceed, during the March 1 through May 31, 2027 performance window. The solicitation requests relevant experience and past-performance references for similar projects completed within the past six years, plus a technical approach limited to 10 pages. Amendment 0001 adds the Environmental Assessment Report and Unit Floor Plans and announces an optional site visit; attendance is urged but not required.
