Description
The National Park Service is requesting a firm-fixed-price quotation to clean and inspect four potable water storage tanks at Crater Lake National Park: one 150,000-gallon tank at park headquarters, two 100,000-gallon tanks at Mazama, and one 185,000-gallon tank at Garfield Reservoir. The work includes underwater and above-water inspection, vigorous brushing and sediment removal, inspection of tank components and coatings, water-quality testing for chlorine residual and turbidity, lawful disposal of sediment and waste, and written and digital reports. The amendment provides tank dimensions: Lower Mazama is 35 feet high by 24 feet in diameter; Upper Mazama is 22 feet 3 inches high by 28 feet in diameter; Headquarters (Munson) is 25 feet high by 33 feet in diameter; and Garfield consists of two bladders in one 70-by-28-by-28-foot tank. The contractor must provide certified commercial divers, disinfected diving equipment, safety and confined-space procedures, quality-control reporting, required permits and regulatory compliance, and all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and disposal. The Garfield site is accessible only by trail and has wilderness access restrictions, including equipment under 36 inches wide and no available electrical power. The quotation must include the required solicitation forms, relevant experience, a proposed work schedule, and past-performance information or questionnaires.
