Description
The City of Moraine is soliciting bids for expansion of the parking lot at the Moraine Municipal Building. The base bid includes pavement removal, geogrid, subgrade compaction, aggregate base, asphalt paving, barrier curbs, construction layout, signage, pavement markings, bollards, and hydroseeding. Additive alternates include approximately 1,300 linear feet of wrought-iron fencing with three motorized slide gates; a dumpster pad with associated parking relocation; and utility conduits, light poles, pull boxes, and parking-lot lighting. The project is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage requirements and must be completed by June 30, 2027. A 10% bid guaranty, 100% performance bond, 10% maintenance bond, and specified insurance coverage are required. The engineer's estimates are $204,000 for the base work, $158,500 for Alternate 1, $21,500 for Alternate 2, and $54,900 for Alternate 3.
