Description
The Town seeks a qualified organization to manage and operate the Shaboo Stage, Jillson Square, and Jillson Event Space as an integrated event venue. The operator would handle day-to-day operations, scheduling and rentals, event development and logistics, marketing and promotion, sponsorships and other revenue opportunities, vendor coordination, and financial and operating records. The Town would retain ownership, policy oversight, approval of annual operating plans and general rental fees, and the ability to reserve the facilities for municipal events. Proposals should describe the proposer’s qualifications and comparable experience, key personnel, at least three references, a first-year operating plan and budget, programming and community-engagement strategy, marketing and sponsorship strategy, financial arrangements and expense allocation, and any recommended improvements or requested contractual exceptions. The Town will evaluate qualifications, plans, strategies, references, capacity, responsiveness, and overall value; it may interview proposers or request additional information.
