Description
The Connecticut Nonprofit Grant Program provides reimbursement-based grants to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit health and human service organizations that receive state funding to serve state agency clients. The program supports capital projects that improve service efficiency or effectiveness, or address health, safety, and accessibility needs. Eligible projects include facility renovations and improvements, energy conservation, new construction, property acquisition, safety improvements, information technology systems, technology that promotes client independence, vehicles, and qualifying capital equipment. Certain collaborations may also receive support for qualifying consolidation-related relocation expenses. A total of $19.5 million is available. Requests of more than $1 million and up to $3 million require a minimum match of 25% of the grant award; requests of up to $1 million have no required match, though non-state matching funds may be considered in evaluation. Awards are reimbursement-based, and funded work generally cannot begin until the grant contract is fully executed. Applications must be submitted through EUNA Grants, and applicants must also be registered in CTsource by the deadline.
