Description
The University of Connecticut is seeking Statements of Qualifications from firms to provide on-call design services for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, and security systems. Work may include system design for new construction, repairs or replacements, infrastructure and utilities, equipment specification evaluations, feasibility studies, troubleshooting, project planning, reports, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, regulatory compliance studies, and peer reviews. Assignments will be issued as needed, with no guaranteed number or value, and individual assignments will not exceed $1 million. The submission requires a narrative of approach, previous relevant experience using the provided form, resumes for proposed key personnel using the provided form, an executed SEEC Form 10 where applicable, and completed hourly rate forms. A current Supplier Diversity Certificate is requested only from firms that are certified. Company and team qualifications, licensing information, and responses to the solicitation’s required questions are also part of the submission. The solicitation recommends three relevant project examples from the past ten years and resumes for specified key roles. The selected firm must be able to self-perform the majority of services.
