Description
Fulton County is seeking a contractor to complete a water valve and fire hydrant assessment program over a three-year term. The remaining scope includes approximately 8,000 valve assessments and 5,000 fire hydrant assessments, averaging approximately 33% of the work per contract year. Services include locating, identifying, cleaning, inspecting, exercising, marking, documenting, and performing minor repairs on valves and hydrant isolation valves, along with approved valve-box adjustments, realignment, replacement, and other major repairs. The contractor must collect survey-grade GPS and operational data, photographs, discrepancy information, torque data, and other asset attributes; produce GIS-compatible databases, maps, photologs, work orders, monthly and annual reports, project-management and quality-control plans, and closeout deliverables; and integrate data with the County's GIS and Cityworks systems. The solicitation requires substantial relevant experience, references, qualified personnel and equipment, safety documentation, electronic field-data samples, and evidence of insurability. Required insurance includes workers' compensation, commercial general liability, umbrella liability, and professional errors-and-omissions coverage.
