Description
Cobb County is soliciting comprehensive occupational medical and health-related fitness services for Fire Department personnel. Base services include annual occupational medical examinations, candidate pre-employment examinations, NFPA-compliant fitness assessments, medical consultations, fitness-for-duty determinations, medical reporting, scheduling, records administration, laboratory and diagnostic testing, and aggregate de-identified health reporting. Services must support NFPA 1582 and NFPA 1583 requirements and include examinations, cardiovascular and cancer screening, behavioral health screening, laboratory panels, imaging, audiometry, vision testing, body composition analysis, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, and provider consultations. Fitness assessments must be performed on site at department stations or other designated work locations. The County also requests separately priced optional services, which may be awarded independently: athletic training; mental health and behavioral wellness services, including counseling, critical-incident response, peer-support development, and telehealth; and a medically managed wellness and fitness program involving medical management, nutrition, fitness programming, health coaching, testing, follow-up, and outcome measurement. Proposers must provide qualified and licensed personnel, equipment, laboratory services, technology platforms, secure medical-record and reporting systems, staffing information, resumes, similar-project experience, an approach, availability, an audited financial statement, and pricing. The contract is for one year with two additional one-year renewals.
