Description
The City of Atlanta is soliciting bids for roadway and pedestrian mobility improvements along Boulevard Avenue between Highland Avenue NE and Boulevard Place NE, including curb bulb-outs, mid-block crosswalks, pedestrian refuge islands, sidewalk widening, ADA ramps, right-of-way optimization, and other safety improvements at signalized intersections. The project is intended to improve transit access and pedestrian activity and must be performed in accordance with the attached statement of services, project drawings, technical requirements, Georgia Department of Transportation specifications, and Atlanta Department of Transportation supplemental requirements. The solicitation requires completion of applicable Office of Contract Compliance documentation, including a 25% Small Business Enterprise participation goal, contractor data and health-and-safety forms, insurance or an insurance-broker insurability letter, and a separate cost proposal with the Schedule of Values. Payment and performance bonds equal to 100% of the total contract value are required, and the solicitation specifies workers’ compensation, general liability, automobile liability, and excess or umbrella insurance requirements. Bids must be submitted through ATLCloud by the stated deadline.
