Description
The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) requires a comprehensive mailroom equipment and maintenance solution for its Cleveland facility. This includes the acquisition of new, high-capacity digital mailing systems through a 60-month lease-to-own arrangement, complete with installation, configuration, operator training, and a 60-month warranty. Additionally, the contract will cover uninterrupted preventative and corrective maintenance, including software updates and parts, for the Government's existing Pitney Bowes mailroom equipment. The contract period will consist of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods, totaling up to 60 months. The new equipment must meet specific technical requirements, including a processing throughput of 120-150 pieces per minute, integrated weighing systems, and compliance with USPS standards. The Intelligent Mail Package Barcode (IMPB) system must also be provided for tracking and accountability. Maintenance services for both new and existing equipment must guarantee a 24-hour on-site response time. All costs for labor, parts, and travel are to be included in the firm-fixed-price lease and maintenance CLINs. Offerors must submit quotations via email by 4:00 PM EST on June 26, 2026. Questions are due by 4:00 PM EST on June 19, 2026.
