Description
The Wayne County Board of Developmental Disabilities requires home modifications for a 14-year-old male with Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy to improve bathroom accessibility and independence. The existing 18-inch toilet must be replaced with a lower-height toilet to facilitate independent transfers. Additionally, the current shower must be replaced with a larger walk-in shower featuring a 3-inch ledge and minimal or no-threshold entry to enhance safety and reduce barriers.
