Description
This solicitation is for the U.S. Coast Guard Station Lorain Electrical and Lighting Systems Upgrade Project. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to complete the project. This includes decommissioning and disposing of existing interior and exterior lighting fixtures and associated wiring, furnishing and installing new LED high-bay and exterior floodlight/wallpack fixtures, running new wiring and conduit, and installing new light switches and a time clock for exterior lighting control. The project also requires electrical support for two Government-Furnished "Big Ass Fans," including installing dedicated circuits and conduit for their control stations. Additionally, the contractor will decommission a 220V lift breaker/outlet and a shore plug. All work must comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Homeland Security (DHS) procurement requirements, and prevailing wage laws. The estimated contract value is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 with a Small Business Size Standard of $19.0M.
