Description
The City of Moline is soliciting one combined bid for demolition and utility disconnection at a fire-damaged, two-story residential structure at 1627 2nd Street. The scope includes demolition and disposal of the structure, foundation walls, footings, flooring, concrete steps, adjacent sidewalk, and a 20-by-20-foot shed, along with site restoration involving grass seed, straw, asphalt tack, and watering. The contractor must disconnect and repair sewer and water services at the street mains, coordinate safe gas-line disconnection and capping, and coordinate electrical-service disconnection. The work includes required traffic control, street cutting and patching, permits, compliance with applicable regulations, and asbestos removal if required by the bid documents. Contractors must have active SAM and UEI registrations and current City of Moline contractor registration or applicable trade registration at bid submission.
