Rock Island County Sheriff's Office is seeking sealed proposals for two new 2025–2026 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor Utility vehicles in Agate Black. Bidders may propose either model year or both, and each proposal must identify the applicable model year. Vehicles must meet or exceed the detailed specifications in Exhibit A, including all-wheel drive, 3.3-liter gasoline V6 engines, heavy-duty braking, police pursuit features, emergency-lighting provisions, communications-equipment provisions, safety systems, and related standard equipment. Proposals must separately itemize optional equipment, warranties, and all applicable fees. Vehicles must be delivered no later than October 30, 2026. The award evaluation assigns 70 points to price and 30 points to the quality and completeness of the proposal, including explanation of the final price and benefits of additional options. The successful bidder must provide specified workers' compensation, commercial general liability, and motor vehicle liability insurance before work begins.
