Description
The U.S. Army is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quote for one new 3-ton, single-girder, top-running overhead bridge crane with an underhung trolley and wire-rope hoist. The contractor must furnish and install a complete operational system, including bridge, trolley, hoist, wired pendant controls, brakes, safety systems, lighting, bumpers, electrical integration, supporting hardware, and all labor and materials required for installation and startup. The equipment must be new, compatible with the existing conductor-bar power system, and compliant with applicable CMAA, OSHA, ASME, and other industry standards. The scope also includes factory and on-site load and performance testing, operator and maintenance training, technical documentation, manuals, schematics, equipment identification data, safety and maintenance procedures, and a one-year parts-and-labor warranty beginning at final acceptance. Quotes will be evaluated using lowest-price technically acceptable procedures. Technical submissions must include published equipment data, two similar-project references with contact information, a paragraph-by-paragraph RIPD compliance statement, manufacturer and model information for all offered equipment and options, and warranty information, along with completed pricing and required solicitation fill-ins.
