Description
This Sources Sought notice seeks qualified vendors for comprehensive vendor-managed inventory and on-site material support at the Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing Technology Center. The anticipated scope includes procurement, warehousing, packaging, transportation, delivery, stocking, inventory monitoring, point-of-use issuance, WBS-segregated billing, logistics coordination, and a full-time on-site representative with qualified backup coverage. Materials include raw materials, fasteners, component parts, industrial supplies, and other items listed in the requirements report, including metals, coatings, hardware, fabricated components, tools, gauges, and equipment-related parts. The contractor must maintain inventory within defined minimum and maximum levels; provide independent inventory-management technology, material-handling equipment, PPE, and waste disposal; maintain active Joint Certification Program registration; provide Certified Test Results and Certificates of Conformance; support M-number traceability; and meet specified inventory fill-rate, billing-accuracy, attendance, and documentation standards. The anticipated contract structure is one base year plus five option years, with a 30-day phase-in and transition-out support. This is a market-research notice only, not a request for proposal or a promise that a future solicitation will be issued. Responses must include company information, CAGE Code or EUI number, company point-of-contact details, and a capability statement addressing the Scope of Work.
