Description
The City of Davenport is soliciting bids for the complete construction and installation of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Elmore Avenue and E 46th Street. The work includes labor, materials, equipment, traffic control, surveying, utility coordination, signage, cleanup, restoration, and other incidental work required by the plans, specifications, and applicable requirements. The project must be completed by April 30, 2027, unless modified by change order, with liquidated damages of $1,000 per day. Bidders must submit through the City of Davenport electronic bidding system; email, fax, paper, and other submission methods are not accepted. Required submission items include the Bidder Status Form, Targeted Small Business Pre-Bid Contact Information form, Certificate of Insurance, and, when the bid exceeds $100,000, a 5% bid bond. The awarded contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds and a four-year maintenance bond. Reasonable affirmative efforts to involve Targeted Small Businesses as subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers, or other participants are required.
