Description
The U.S. Army is establishing a no-cost, multi-award Basic Ordering Agreement for qualified small businesses capable of supplying commercial raw metal stock and components. The inventory includes steel plate, sheet, angle, channel, beam, bar, pipe, tubing, tread plate, grating, expanded metal, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, tool steel, and related materials. Amendment 1 adds inventory to the revised purchase description, including steel grit that must be supplied by Metaltec and accompanied by a Steel Grit Material Certification from the manufacturer at the time of delivery. The BOA ordering period may not exceed five years. Future requirements will be competed through order-level RFQs among active BOA holders, with orders issued as firm-fixed-price contracts and delivery requirements established for multiple continental United States sites. No pricing is requested at the master BOA stage. Offerors must be small businesses, maintain active SAM.gov registration and a CAGE code, maintain at least a conditional CMMC Level 2 self-assessment in SPRS at award, and demonstrate the ability to fulfill at least 50% of the revised purchase description. Capability may be achieved with or without subcontractors, subject to the stated limitations on subcontracting and non-manufacturer requirements.
