Description
The Army Contracting Command–Rock Island is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contract for one Okamoto OGM-12.36UNCIII universal CNC cylindrical OD grinder and one Okamoto IGM-15NCIII/2B precision twin-spindle ID grinder, with an option for one additional OD grinder. The grinders must be Okamoto Corp. USA Total Grinding Solution brand name only and must meet the detailed Rock Island Purchase Description requirements, including FANUC controls, precision grinding capabilities, coolant and mist-collection systems, tooling, measurement equipment, and related accessories. The contractor must deliver the equipment, provide installation and start-up, site-preparation support, performance testing, operator, maintenance, and methods training, and supply warranty and service support. Required technical submissions include a completed compliance statement marking every purchase-description paragraph “COMPLY” or “NON-COMPLY,” equipment and model identification, options, installation/freight/training information, a one-year parts-and-labor warranty, published manufacturer data, and references for at least three similar successful CNC grinder sales. The amendment moves the procurement from a total small-business set-aside to full and open competition and extends the offer deadline to September 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time.
