Description
MetroLINK is soliciting proposals for the complete operation and administration of its ADA complementary paratransit service, including curb-to-curb shared-ride transportation, reservations, scheduling, dispatching, customer service, road supervision, incident response, reporting, fare collection, vehicle coordination, and trained personnel. The contractor will operate MetroLINK-provided ADA-compliant vehicles within the defined service area and established service hours, using MetroLINK-provided Via software and systems. The contractor must also provide continuous dispatching and related recordkeeping and reporting for MetroLINK's directly operated Specialized Transportation Services (STS), while MetroLINK retains responsibility for STS vehicles, operators, maintenance, fuel, insurance, and road supervision. The scope includes staffing, safety and drug-and-alcohol compliance, training, maintenance coordination, performance reporting, cybersecurity, and compliance with applicable federal and state requirements. The proposed contract has a three-year term with two one-year option periods.
