Description
The Indianapolis Housing Agency is soliciting sealed bids for the Barton Annex Roof Replacement project. The base work includes removal and off-site disposal of the existing ballasted EPDM roof system, installation of a 60-mil fully adhered white TPO membrane over cover board and existing tapered XPS insulation, new flashing, termination bars, vent boots, walk pads, sealants, and related accessories, along with salvage and reinstallation of existing roof coping, doors, frames, drain strainers, and exhaust-fan covers. The contractor must also provide sheet-metal fabrications, positive drainage, debris removal, and a manufacturer-backed 15-year labor-and-material roof-system warranty. The bid includes alternates for replacing the stair-tower and elevator-penthouse roofs and for using PVC membrane in specified areas, plus a unit price for roof-insulation replacement. Prevailing-wage requirements apply, and bidders must submit the listed construction forms, certifications, bid guarantee, subcontractor and supplier information, and Section 3 compliance materials. Section 3 business-concern certification is optional for acknowledgment, but Section 3 employment, training, and contracting obligations apply to the awarded contractor to the greatest extent feasible.
