Jefferson Township is seeking a roofing contractor to remove and legally dispose of the existing asphalt-shingle roofing system at its Administration Building and install a complete, weather-tight replacement. The base bid includes labor, supervision, materials, equipment, temporary protection, disposal, applicable permits, ice and water barrier, synthetic underlayment, architectural asphalt shingles, ridge cap and ventilation, drip edge, flashing, penetration boots, sealants, cleanup, debris removal, and a final magnetic nail sweep. Contractors must verify site conditions, coordinate access and scheduling, protect occupied-building operations and adjacent property, maintain weather-tight conditions, and comply with OSHA requirements, manufacturer instructions, building codes, and local requirements. The RFQ also requests alternate or unit pricing for fascia, soffit, rake boards and exposed trim, gutters and downspouts, deteriorated roof sheathing, and structural framing repairs. Submissions must include the completed contractor proposal form or equivalent, certificate of insurance, product information, warranty information, proposed schedule, and at least three relevant references. The selected contractor must provide manufacturer warranty documentation and a minimum one-year workmanship warranty.
