Description
Sinclair Community College is soliciting bids for replacement of existing HVAC building automation systems across its campus. The work includes upgrading the Siemens Desigo front-end software; removing pneumatic dampers, valves, actuators, legacy Siemens MBC controllers, and deficient panels; installing electronic dampers, valves, actuators, current Siemens PXCA controllers, new Ethernet drops, control wiring, conduit, and accessories; implementing BACnet communications; and programming, testing, commissioning, and starting up the systems. The project includes main plant and building-level controls, with alternates for replacing additional PXC100-PE96 controllers and reprogramming chilled-water plants, boiler plants, and air-handling units across specified campus buildings. The estimated base contract cost is $1,985,685, with a $50,000 allowance and separately priced alternates. Bidders must submit an electronic bid, bid guaranty, and required bidder information through the electronic bidding system. The project is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage requirements and domestic-steel requirements; the EDGE participation goal is 0%.
