Description
The City of Dayton is soliciting dealer bids for new Chevrolet Equinox LT all-wheel-drive sport utility vehicles in both gasoline and battery-electric configurations, with model years 2026 or 2027. Bidders may offer factory-order or dealer-inventory vehicles and may submit pricing for one or both configurations. Vehicles must meet detailed specifications covering drivetrain, powertrain or electric propulsion, safety systems, technology, charging equipment for EVs, colors, accessories, and manufacturer warranty coverage. Descriptive literature, product summaries, specifications, warranty information, and any exceptions or deviations must accompany the bid. The solicitation establishes firm initial-term pricing from September 1 through December 31, 2026, with three optional annual renewal periods covering calendar years 2027, 2028, and 2029. The City may issue purchase orders throughout the term and is not obligated to purchase a minimum quantity. Bids are restricted to dealers located in Ohio, and bidders must be direct dealership employees able to place orders directly with the manufacturer. Delivery is to the City’s Division of Fleet Management, with inventory vehicles due within 90 calendar days and factory-order vehicles within 120 to 150 calendar days after purchase-order receipt.
