Description
Springfield Public Schools is soliciting sealed bids for complete replacement of the storm-damaged roof system at the Academy of Exploration. The scope includes all labor and materials, replacement of damaged tectum, metal, or wood roof deck as directed, allowances, roof-system submittals, manufacturer qualifications, site cleanup, prevailing-wage compliance, and applicable construction safety requirements. The solicitation requires a 5% bid guaranty and 100% payment and performance bonds. Bidders must submit the required bid and qualification materials, licenses, business documentation, affidavits, subcontractor and DBE information, pricing breakdowns, and insurance evidence. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit is scheduled, and bids must be submitted through the electronic bidding system by the stated deadline.
