Snowflake Unified School District #5 is soliciting bids for the roof replacement of Snowflake Jr. High School located at 1380 Main Street, Snowflake, AZ. The project involves demolition of existing roofing systems down to the deck across multiple buildings (1001-1010), including built-up roofing, spray foam, and single-ply membranes. New roofing will consist of a TPO single-ply membrane, mechanically attached or adhered, over rigid polyiso insulation (minimum R-25), cover board, and substrate board. Work also includes replacement of fascia boards, gutters, downspouts, metal coping, raising rooftop units and penetrations, and abatement of hazardous materials (lead-based paint, roof cement, spray-applied foam). The school will remain in session during construction, requiring careful staging and egress maintenance.
