Description
The City of Willcox is soliciting bids for crushing, pulverizing, screening, and related processing of approximately 8,000 tons of reclaimed roadway and construction materials stockpiled at its Public Works Yard. Materials may include asphalt pavement and millings, chip seal, concrete, concrete containing reinforcing steel, rock, stone, and mixed construction materials. The contractor must furnish the labor, equipment, machinery, and services necessary to process the materials into usable aggregate base for municipal roadways, alleys, shoulders, parking areas, and similar infrastructure. The contractor must provide equipment including crushers, pulverizers, screens, loaders, excavators, conveyors, magnets, generators, and related equipment; separate metal and rebar as necessary; stockpile the finished product; control dust and debris; document actual tonnage processed; and identify the finished-product gradation and maximum size. Optional services may include additional screening, loading, stockpile management, hauling, disposal, and material separation. The anticipated total expenditure is not to exceed $100,000, and payment will be based on actual quantities processed at accepted unit prices.
