Description
West Virginia University is soliciting proposals for the BP01_03 Mechanical and Plumbing subcontract package for the Milan Puskar Stadium West Tower renovation. The scope includes furnishing and installing plumbing systems, domestic water and drainage, natural gas, sanitary and storm lines, plumbing fixtures and equipment, roof drains, sump pumps, grease receptor, piping insulation, firestopping, sleeves, anchors, and related testing, rigging, drilling, disinfection, and cleaning. The mechanical scope includes HVAC systems and piping, ductwork, registers, diffusers, mechanical equipment, boilers, chilled-water systems, stair pressurization systems, kitchen exhaust ductwork, roof curbs, insulation, firestopping, and building automation controls using DDC and BACnet. The subcontractor must provide qualified labor, supervision, materials, equipment, BIM modeling and coordination in Revit/Navisworks, shop drawings and submittals, safety and quality documentation, field engineering, as-built records, testing and commissioning support, and coordination with other trades. The stated subcontractor notice to proceed is November 22, 2026, with mechanical and plumbing substantial completion scheduled for June 27, 2028.
