Description
Western Municipal Water District is seeking a qualified consultant to perform site investigation, potholing, and slot trenching in support of a SCADA and communications system upgrade at the Western Water Recycling Facility. The work will verify potential utility conflicts at six proposed underground conduit duct-bank locations. Required field services include a site visit and potholing to a depth of five feet below ground using drilling and slot-trenching methods shown in the Potholing Plan. The consultant must provide a potholing report summarizing results, along with necessary exhibits, tables, and supporting information. The proposal must include the firm's qualifications and relevant experience, project team and subconsultant information, detailed scope and approach, project schedule, level of effort by task and labor classification, QA/QC and project-management approach, and a separate fee proposal. A completed RFP signature sheet is required. The sample contract requires insurance, including general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, cyber liability, professional liability, and conditional pollution liability, before award or commencement as specified in the contract.
