Riverside County, on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, is seeking quotations for scheduled preventive maintenance, safety inspections, troubleshooting, parts replacement, and corrective repairs for commercial gym and fitness equipment. Covered equipment includes treadmills, ellipticals, rowers, stair climbers, bikes, strength machines, free weights, racks, benches, cable systems, Smith machines, and related training equipment at multiple sheriff stations, correctional facilities, and training centers. Preventive maintenance may be quarterly, semiannual, or annual at the department’s discretion and includes cleaning, lubrication, inspection, calibration, electrical and safety checks, documentation, and operational testing. Emergency service requests require a verbal response within 24 hours, and routine repair requests require a response within three business days. The vendor must supply new OEM or manufacturer-compliant replacement parts, provide repair and maintenance records, warrant workmanship for at least 90 days after repairs, and ensure technicians pass a Level One security clearance before accessing Sheriff’s Office facilities. The contract is for one year with up to four additional one-year renewal periods.
