Description
Riverside Transit Agency is soliciting bids for comprehensive landscape maintenance at five properties in Riverside County, including facilities in Riverside, Hemet, and Corona. Services include weekly grounds maintenance; pruning, watering, fertilization, weed, pest, and disease control; irrigation-system operation, adjustment, and minor repairs; mulch and ground-cover maintenance; bioswale upkeep; quarterly vegetation and debris clearing at one Hemet facility; pesticide and herbicide application; and removal of landscaping debris. The contractor must furnish the required labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services; maintain applicable California contractor, pest-control, and applicator licenses; and ensure the contractor and subcontractors are registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations at bid submission. This is a prevailing-wage public-works project. The solicitation requires a 10% bid bond and, for the successful bidder, 100% performance and payment bonds. Bidders must submit the provided bid schedule and required forms electronically through PlanetBids.
