Description
The City of Willows is seeking a contractor to modify filter facilities at its wastewater treatment plant. The work includes shop-fabricated, hot-dip-galvanized HSS6x6x1/4 diagonal braces, base plates with bent rebar, top plates, Hilti KB-II anchor bolts furnished and installed by the general contractor, non-shrink grout, and steel erection using bolted connections with no field welding. The quotation form identifies approximately 460 pounds of structural steel bracing, two base plates, two top plates, 16 anchor bolts, two grout locations, and two steel-erection locations. The work must be completed within 60 days after the City issues instructions to proceed. A valid Class A or C-51 California contractor's license, current California public-works registration, prevailing-wage compliance, and specified insurance coverage are required. The apparent low responsive and responsible bidder will generally be selected.
