Description
The City of Oxnard is soliciting an informal public-works bid for the removal of six existing ground-level perimeter windows and the furnishing and installation of new commercial-grade operable aluminum awning windows at the Collections Building of its Water Resource Recovery Facility. The work includes all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, demolition, masonry patching, substrate preparation, installation, sealing, hardware adjustment, cleanup, debris disposal, and related incidental work. The window schedule includes four Type A units measuring approximately 42 1/2 by 56 1/4 inches and two Type B units measuring approximately 60 1/4 by 56 3/8 inches. The replacement units must include one-inch insulated glass units with laminated tinted exterior glass achieving 35% visible light transmission, clear tempered interior glass, argon-filled airspace, Low-E coating, warm-edge spacers, thermally broken Energy Star-rated aluminum frames, commercial stainless-steel hinges, concealed multi-point locks, and rotary gear operators. The contractor must possess a California C-17 Glazing Contractors License at bid time and obtain a City of Oxnard Business License at contract award. The project is paid on a lump-sum basis and must be completed within 120 working days after issuance of the City's Notice to Proceed.
